It's tempting to try to do everything yourself, but you can only spread yourself so thin. It is one of the easiest wins for an independent business owner to outsource at least some of your admin tasks. Whether it's simple book-keeping, putting together target client email lists, filing or anything else that helps you to keep in control of your business, handing this off to someone who is an expert in all things admin / organisation is usually one of the best things that you can do.

Put it this way, how much is your time worth vs how much it would cost to hire a VA, PA or Book-keeper? It can work out to be false economy to do everything yourself, particularly if it's stopping you from making money in the business.
